Getting your chocolate to you as fresh as it is the day it is made requires that we use extreme care. When we ship to destinations that are over 70 degrees Fahrenheit as well as during the months of May through September we highly suggest that you choose “Next Day” shipping option when placing an order. While we use the most innovative insulated packaging in order to ensure that your chocolates arrive at your door intact and ready for you to enjoy, we cannot guarantee against damage due to heat when 2nd Day shipping is selected.
Heidi and Arthur Chocolatiers want to make sure that we are able to accurately process your order. The details of your name, billing address, name and address of shipping address inclusive of any apartment, suite or floor numbers and method of payment are critical. Phone numbers of recipient is very important as we advise that someone be available to accept the delivery so as to avoid unnecessary exposure to potentially adverse weather conditions, theft or damage. All orders require a street address and will not be shipped to P.O. boxes.
Heidi and Arthur Chocolatiers will not be responsible for packages that are returned to us as undeliverable – the customer will still be charged. If a returned package needs to be shipped out a second time, the customer will incur a second shipping charge.
We cannot be responsible for errors in information that is provided to us. Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt, please contact us immediately after your package arrives. We will replace your order or refund your money as per your request, as long as returned products are in absolutely new, unused and uneaten condition.
Heidi and Arthur Chocolatiers is not responsible for shipping delays caused by any shipping service due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control. As each purchase is made to order, delays can occur due to high volume as well. Feel free to e-mail us for an exact shipping date if required.
